Reason. Now being applied to advertising.

Welcome to Reason Partners, Inc. We’ve changed our name from Holmes and Lee, but more importantly we’ve changed some of our key people, structure, offerings and how we approach the marketing-communications business – all built around a changing market and evolving client needs.

Essentially our structure facilitates integration at the point of planning, not later. It encompasses all traditional and digital content and media possibilities, including social influence marketing. And because of it, our work is more purpose focused, less expensive, faster and more measurable than the traditional agency silo structure is able to provide.

It’s based on what we call a ‘cell’ structure, combining our most experienced thinkers in strategic planning, creative and technology as the core team and collaborator with our clients. The cell then interacts with a flat line of in-house producers and equity based joint partnerships to produce the work. As Reason Partners grows, the cell reproduces itself. Simple.

Prior to launching, we tested a new cause marketing initiative that also served as a soft launch for the agency rebranding. We were fortunate to pick up press in a number of publications, including Advertising Age and Strategy Magazine. Even Microsoft blogged about it.

Apart from the concept representing a different way of addressing cause marketing, it also allowed us to actually act, listen, measure and improve the concept, as well as test Microsoft’s new tag technology (world’s first on a billboard), rather than just theorize about it. And that’s what it’s all about. Doing it.

Which brings us to our site. The days are gone when you could simply build a website and abandon it. Or build some flash based gimmick that only attracts people once. Audience engagement is founded on the building blocks of utility and entertainment. Which is why this site is designed to provoke conversation and to provide a continuing resource for current and potential clients, as well as interested members of our industry.

With the pace of change in today’s marketing and media environment it can be difficult to stay current. We’ve included a feed of what we’re reading and through our blogs, articles and twitter feeds we’ll be offering regular insights and points of view on a wide range of relevant subjects. We’ll also report on upcoming and significant additions as we evolve. And evolve we will.

These are exciting times. Why don’t you join us in changing with them?
